He has been a professor at the Harz University of Applied Sciences since 2011, where he heads the Institute for Sustainable Tourism. He worked at TUI for twelve years, including as Head of Sustainable Development. Zeiss is involved in numerous committees as a recognised expert in tourism and sustainability strategies.
