To ensure your session’s visibility in the EFA programme, we require some details about it. Please submit this information in writing to your EFA contact person. For consistency throughout the programme, please follow this style guide. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us!
The session content should be described clearly and concisely. Please use precise statements.
Please note that the English version is mandatory, a German one is optional.

What we need from you:

Session title

  • Maximum 70 characters
  • No quotation marks, no ALL CAPS, no hyphens – use colons instead

Session description

  • Maximum 400 characters
  • Do not include names of individuals or companies (These will be displayed automatically in the programme.)
  • Avoid questions – descriptions should be as specific and clear as possible
  • No ALL CAPS, minimise the use of hyphens
  • Use colons for gender-inclusive language in German (e.g., Bürger:innen)
  • Do not mention the session format (e.g., chat/networking); it will be assigned automatically
  • Spell out abbreviations the first time they appear, followed by the abbreviation in brackets (e.g., European Forum Alpbach (EFA)); after that, the abbreviation alone is sufficient

Title: How Trust runs the World
Text: Trust in business, politics and media is the basis for our coexistence in a society. Trust is necessary to maintain international relations, to strengthen democracy and to enable companies to operate successfully. In times of loss of trust, the important question of (re)establishing trust arises.

Information: EFA follows British English. Session texts will be reviewed and edited by EFA after submission.
