From 6 to 9 June 2024, there will be once again the opportunity to determine the composition of the European Parliament. However, young voters’ abstention in European elections is particularly high, over 70 %. Building on a related Alpbach Seminar and Lab, politicians from differing party groups will join our discussion: What will be the decisive topics and policies that can activate young people to vote? How can we make European politics more attractive to them?
Session objective: Imagining new possibilities – Get inspired and foster new ideas by imagining bold solutions to complex challenges and imagine disruptively new ways of thinking.
