To mark the 80th anniversary of the European Forum Alpbach, Hannes Kar's film "Brennpunkt Alpbach" will be shown – an impressive portrait of the forum and its beginnings, originally created for its 40th anniversary. In conversation with this long-time companion, it becomes clear why Alpbach in particular became the ‘village of thinkers’ – and what makes this place so inspiring to this day.
