In an era of global economic disruption, states and non-state actors increasingly use economic tools to advance security interests. This seminar examines whether the shift toward geoeconomics signals the end of the global economic order or a transition into a new phase. Participants will critically discuss scenarios including the risk of an “economic World War III” and its possible ramifications.
