The scientific basis of climate change is examined, media portrayals are critically assessed, and key insights from the IPCC are highlighted. Climate models are discussed in terms of purpose and limitations. Challenges of the energy transition are explored, and a systems perspective is emphasised as essential for a resilient, fossil-free future.
