Myroslava Gongadze is a veteran, award-winning journalist and foreign policy expert. She was previously Voice of America’s Eastern Europe Chief and Chief of VOA’s Ukrainian Service, leading coverage of the Russian war in Ukraine and regional developments for a global audience. With over 20 years at the U.S. Agency for Global Media, Gongadze is a recognized voice on press freedom, transparency, and security. She moderates high-level panels and frequently speaks on democracy and media resilience in Eastern Europe. A 2019 Nieman Fellow at Harvard, she focused on Russian information warfare. In 2024, she was named one of Ukrainska Pravda's 100 most influential women in Ukraine.
