From 1999 to 2004, Hochenegger-Stoirer was employed at Pankl Racing Systems AG in Kapfenberg and within Pankl Group. She then served as CFO of HTI AG from 2004 to 2008, with main responsibilities including finance, IT, human resources and investor relations. Since 2008, she has been a shareholder of Quintus Unternehmensberatung GmbH. She assumed the role of Vice Rector at MedUni Graz in 2020, followed by her position as Vice Rector at MedUni Innsbruck, which she took up in 2024. Since 2025, Hochenegger-Stoirer has also held the Vice Rector position at VetMed.
