She is a global leader in urban heat resilience and currently serves as Senior Advisor for Resilience and Adaptation at the Global Covenant of Mayors. A former Deputy Mayor of Athens and Chief Heat Officer, she has shaped climate adaptation policy at city and international levels. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from Columbia University and was recently named a Perry World House Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
