He heads the office of the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Austria. Previously, he was Director for the EIB’s governing bodies and Head of the President’s Office at its Luxembourg headquarters. Before joining the EIB in 2012, he served as Chief of Staff to the Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office and worked in the Bundestag on EU, budget, and foreign policy issues.
