She is Chair of Information Systems & Society at the WU Vienna and an expert in digital ethics, IT innovation, privacy, and future studies. From 2016 to 2021 she co-led the development of the first global standard for ethical IT design (ISO/IEEE 24748-7000). In 2024 Stanford ranked her among the top 2 % most cited scientists in her field.
