He studied Journalism and History in Vienna and spent 15 years as a reporter, journalist, and editor in the ORF radio and television departments before moving into management. From 2012 he was Chief TV Producer for Finances, became Deputy Commercial Director in 2017, and led the ORF Player project in 2020. In 2021, he was elected ORF’s Director General.
