She is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Slavic Studies, University of Vienna, and studied Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies. She has also been teaching at the University of Klagenfurt since 2014. She is a co-founder of the project MUSMIG Museum of Migration in Austria.
