Herwig Ostermann is a health economist and has served as CEO of the Austrian National Public Health Institute (GÖG) since 2016. In addition, he holds a professorship in Health Policy and Administration at UMIT Tirol. His work focuses on health system analysis, health policy, and evidence-based decision-making to support healthcare reform and system improvement.
