IS THE TICKETSHOP AVAILABLE IN OTHER LANGUAGES?

The ticketshop is only available in English.

I WANT TO PARTICIPATE AT THE EFA EVENT. HOW CAN I GET A TICKET?

You can buy your ticket in our ticket shop.

First, select one or more tickets of your choice. This will be followed by the authentication of your Email-address and the entry of your data. In the next step, we may ask you for your contact details and the confirmation of the general terms of use, the European GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Code of Conduct.

If you would like to get invited to special events, make sure to check the additional box and allow the European Forum Alpbach to inform its partners about your attendance and forward your name, organisation, and country.

I HAVE A TICKET-CODE, HOW CAN I ACCESS MY TICKET?

If you have received a ticket-code, please enter your ticket-code in the intended field on our ticketing page. You can still purchase additional tickets after entering the codes.

DOES THIS WEBSITE COMPLY WITH SCREEN READERS FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE?

This website is built to help impaired people understand its content. This includes the use of high contrasts, understandable language and screen readability. The measures undertaken correspond to an AA certification. However, as the ticketshop is newly developed you may need assistance. We apologise for any technical challenges regarding the ticketshop. We are constantly working on improvements and therefore are pleased to receive your comments.

I AM A MEMBER OF Ö1. HOW CAN I GET MY DISCOUNT?

You are entitled to a discount of 10 %. Please follow this LINK. You may get asked to verify your club membership at a later stage.

ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE/NGOS/START UPS IN PARTICULAR?

We issue 50% reduced tickets to representatives of a registered NGOs, start-up companies or scientific organisations, as well as for people under 35 living or working outside of Austria. You may apply for the following modules:

CAN I PASS MY TICKET ON TO SOMEONE ELSE?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pass on your ticket since the email address for registration has to be the participant’s personal email, and needs to be confirmed by the participant. Also, every participant must agree to the terms of conditions of the conference to be able to participate. The personal email address serves as a unique identifier which further grants access to the European Forum Alpbach event.

CAN I CANCEL MY TICKET PURCHASE AND GET A REFUND?

CAN I BUY TICKETS IN BULK?

Unfortunately, bulk purchase of tickets is not possible, since the email address for registration needs to be the participant’s personal email and needs to be confirmed by the participant. Also, every participant must agree to the terms of conditions of the event.

WHEN I ENTER MY EMAIL ADDRESS, I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE. HOW CAN I ACCESS MY TICKET?

Please make sure to enter the same email address from which you received the invitation link. The personal email address serves as a unique identifier which further grants access to your conference ticket.

I DID NOT RECEIVE A TICKET-CODE. HOW CAN I PROCEED?

A ticket-code is not mandatory for the ticket purchase. If you have not received a ticket code, simply select your desired ticket(s) and then click “checkout” at the bottom.

HOW CAN I STAY INFORMED ON THE STATUS OF MY TICKET PURCHASE?

You can click on the invitation link you have received by us as many times as you wish. The ticketshop will automatically show you the updated status of your purchased or available tickets.

WHICH PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE THERE?

A ticket purchase is possible by commonly used credit cards (Visa, Mastercard etc.), as well as SEPA payment. Please be aware that the payment processing by SEPA payment may take up to 7 days. After the receipt of the payment, the EFA will send you a registration confirmation. Please note that SEPA payment is only possible up until 14 days before the EFA event.

CAN I BUY A TICKET FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

We strictly advise against buying a ticket in someone else’s name since the email address for registration needs to be the participant’s personal email and needs to be confirmed by the participant. Also, every participant needs to personally agree to the terms of conditions of the conference to be able to participate.

DO I HAVE TO PRINT MY TICKET CONFIRMATION?

Upon arrival, we will ask you to show the ticket QR code you received via email. It can be either shown on a screen or printed. After registration in the Congress Centrum Alpbach you will receive a badge. Depending on your choice of ticket the badge will allow for access to the sessions of there respective module(s).
