Our EFA365 event series brings lively discussions and inspiring panel talks to the world beyond Alpbach. We invite you to pass the wait for the next Forum by joining what happens next to where you are!

Our European commitment is to summon those who contribute to a stronger Europe for the good of all. We organise not only the annual event in Alpbach, but also host continuous activities throughout the year. Our source of motivation is an ongoing, collaborative process of finding new ideas, culminating in the annual EFA event in Alpbach.

Upcoming events:

  • On 6 May 2024, the Future of the Single Market will be addressed with First Vice-President of the European Parliament Othmar Karas and former Prime Minister of Italy Enrico Letta. The effectiveness of the Single Marked is currently challenged by geopolitical shifts, climate change and technological advances. Potential solutions to ensure prosperity and unity in Europe will be discussed in English language at Reitersaal at the OeKB, am Hof 4, 1010 Vienna starts at 5.30 p.m. Please register until 5 May HERE


  • Also on 6 May 2024, a discussion on the EU Special Committee on Foreign Interference in all Democratic Processes in the European Union, including Disinformation (INGE) will take place in cooperation with the Austrian public radio broadcaster Ö1. The event (in German language) takes place at 6 p.m. at ORF Radiokulturhaus, Argentinierstraße 30A, 1040 Vienna.   • 7 May 2024 provides you with a lecture on “The Gendered Roots of Violent Extremism” at the Central European University (CEU) in Vienna. Professor Cynthia Miller-Idriss is a researcher and author on polarisation and extremism. She will elaborate on how everyday forms of sexism, misogyny and anti-LGBTQ+ attitudes and contribute to radicalisation and violence.
